Ellis has advised a number of local and multinational corporations on some of their most important transactions in areas such as project finance, energy and infrastructure, real estate and construction, private equity, capital markets and regulatory compliance, and employment and industrial relations.

Ellis holds Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws Degrees from the University of Ghana where he led a team to establish the University’s first Students’ Law Journal, becoming its founding editor in 2008. He also holds a Master of Laws degree from the Pennsylvania State University where he focused on Energy Law and Policy and Oil and Gas Law and the Law and Policy of Shale Gas Development.
